My first thought: “Aw, that’s so nice of them, but … no.”
An art show. In a real gallery space.
A group of art-loving joy rebels reached out with an idea that surprised me and I just couldn’t shake. It’s something I’ve always dreamed of, but never thought would actually happen. Yet, here we are. It’s big and strange and now … it’s happening!
1,000 square feet. A gallery space to create an experience that’s both an artistic challenge and an exciting new way to connect with people.
So, Kristi and I aid yes.
Our exhibit, We Hope You Fail Better, officially opens November 9 at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts! The gallery is in this incredible space—once a booming pie factory! (so there’s literally a sweetness in the air when you walk in)— in Saugatuck, Michigan. We love it and them so much. The team there works year-round to bring their community together in the most artful ways to dream, play, explore, and grow. It is a great honor to partner with them on this project.
