Hope you have so much fun in Columbus, Brad and Kristi! If you have time, COSI is amazing - highly recommend. Also a big fan of Swensons Drive Ins - have lunch or dinner in your car and be sure to get a milkshake, too! Safe and happy travels!
I like to view each of us as one piece in a gigantic jigsaw puzzle. We are shaped differently with unique curves and angles, some of us small, others larger. Some of us comprise a small portion of the intricate details in the background while others may be minute segments of a central figure. But unless we assemble ourselves together we’ll never see or realize the entirety of the scene.
As always...a beautiful reminder of what's real and lasting...connection and love...Thank you for ALL you do and share...you bring beauty to the world each and every time!!! <3
Brad, this is wonderfilled! Reminds me of Ryan O'Neal/Sleeping at Last's song Saturn, "With shortness of breath/ I'll explain the infinite/ How rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist." ✨
Brad, I agree wholeheartedly with the thoughts you express so simply and beautifully in this piece. Thank you for the inspiration. I love the way you write. My latest piece explores the same thing from a different angle. Nice to know I'm not alone in my faith on the power of embracing the things right in front of us.
I understand this so well. Often before bed I swallow my pills (various physical conditions) I’ll follow them up with a 16 ounce bottle of water. Then in the middle of the night my bladder wakes me up. Standing over the toilet and peeing while I’m still yawning I grow impatient with the seeing endless flow and find myself telling my body to hurry up before I’m totally awake. I only have myself to blame.
Beautiful!
Sending so much love to you and your family! Grateful to be connected. ❤️

Sharing this….it’s brilliant! 🫶🏽
That’s super kind. Thank YOU 🙏
Thank you, Brad! That really is the essence of ALL of it...we must keep reaching out to each other, even - especially! - in the dark.

Thank you for helping me write my sermon for today!

My business partner, Loretta, and I always look for local ice cream when we’re in a new city. I can recommend Jeni’s and Graeter’s in Columbus.
May your visit be full of connection!
Ooooo now that’s a brilliant strategy! Ice Cream + community for the win. Thank you!!!

"the same hands that drop phones in toilets
also cradle newborn heads.
The same mouths that mispronounce quinoa with confidence
can whisper prayers and sing lullabies" This is Beautiful! All of it actually :)
Gracias x existir ❤️Brad

Seeming, not seeing.
