So excited about this email! I can not wait for more! I read your book How to be a better grown up and I actually use the map with my fifth grader and it has helped so much with anxiety the students have. They are able to tell me where they are at (feelings) and where they want to be. They have added to the map with other drawings and areas. I have been teaching 34 years and this map is such an amazing tool. Can't wait to create more joy in my life, the life of others and in my fifth graders life! Thank you!
Sandy, thank you. Thank you for these words and for your work with young people! I love hearing that the map has been useful. So incredible. Looking forward to all that’s ahead! Here’s to exploring some undiscovered territories on that map!
Be gentle with yourself and give yourself some slack, we are all so glad to know you are back! There is joy to unfold and stories that have gone untold, now more than ever you are needed and when you look back I am quite sure you will be enthusiastically blessed by the way you have succeeded.
SO good to hear from you my dear friend, teacher, and encourager!!! I think of you often. Grateful for your gentle and rebellious, compassionate and generous heart. Thank you for this.
I was BEYOND excited to see this - epic project from your joy-spreading thought-provoking soul. Thank you Brad. I'd just been writing my first substack when it came in, you've given me courage so I'm pressing send on the first of my new newsletter on the imagination, storytelling and creative crack for kids and grown-ups later today!
