Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing a few notes from camp. As mentioned above, it’s extremely tiring, occassionally stressful, but ultimately so incredibly rewarding. Hearing from each of you helps keep me going! Thank you *so* much to all who have subscribed, shared, donated, and cheered this on. You are each daily reminders to me of the incredible goodness that’s possible in the world. Truly.
Three things:
Join me in Atlanta, GA! I’m speaking at one of my favorite gatherings with some of my favorite people. It’s happening August 24. Tickets are available now!

Take a listen! Allen Clark is a legendary photographer with a fascinating podcast on inspiration, craft, and life’s ‘untaken photos’. He recently had me on to chat and it was a blast. You can listen to The Photo Untaken here or wherever you get your podcasts.

My kids are there now! I struggled with whether to send them or not (two introverts who both prefer the comfort of their own beds to cabin bunks, indoors to outdoors, alone to lots of people). But connection and belonging are so important, and sometimes have to be forced 😄
I was blessed to spend several years on a camp staff. What memories! Loved the impact on campers lives and mine! After 40 years I’m still in contact with some staff!
