so thankful for you Brad! (Was “have a go” intentionally linked to the, you know, bathroom? — I’ve been around my husband too long and the kids would definitely call that comment cringe)
EMBRACE THE CRINGE! Haha. Yes it wasn’t originally meant to be linked and yet there it is. Part of me wanted to rework and rewrite once I realized but I’m in. Season of trying not to overthink and well, here we are. Haha
Love it, and your wonderful work, Brad. I was inspired by a Christmas Eve concert at the Sydney Opera house almost 50 years ago. Your story brought it back in a whole new way! You've also given me an idea for reframing an art contest for kids that we do for a Health & Wellness EXPO each year in our tiny community of Yarnell, AZ. Who knew??!!! THANK YOU for your inspiration!
This is the quiet crisis we rarely talk about. We spend so much time focused on building the thing that we forget what the thing was for. And then one day we're standing in the middle of everything we worked for and can't quite remember what made us come alive. We've optimized ourselves right past ourselves. That's not a strategy problem. That's a much older, and much more personal question, and it doesn't care how successful we become.
We have travelled around the US for 5.5 years, taking hundreds of thousands of photos…but some of the best days/moments with family and friends we have practically no photos because we forget.

To all the folks on that side of the world who would like to name their kids after dinosaurs, I say, “HAVE A GO!”
I love everything about this. Thanks for having a go on so many things and then telling us about it!

Thank you, Brad! These would have to be the second most “cool” bathrooms, behind MSYC!
Haha! I fully agree.
