I was fortunate enough to take one of Dr. Delay’s science classes. I always loved that he had a little mischievous glint in his eye and just genuinely seemed to enjoy life. He was serious but didn’t take things too seriously. I’m so glad he and his wife were the voices of Bib and Dot.

Every memory is a treasure. Thank you for adding Bib and Dot (and the Chili Bowl/Public lands clips) to that chest. Thanks for these thoughts. I have considered the sentiment of eulogy virtues before. The best of those are drenched in love.

This is so precious. I was recently at a memorial for a great aunt and it really got me thinking about eulogy virtues, though I didn’t have those words for it. I agree that as a society we need to pay more attention to them. The video is so adorable!

You're so right, Carly. I'm grateful this could help articulate what you've been reflecting on. Too often we deem these kinds of conversations too morbid or uncomfortable, but there's a way to do it that points toward hopeful purpose and meaningful action. To that!

Thanks for watching, Erika. Real talk -- it takes me an embarrasingly long time to draw and edit short little squiggly animations together. I'm certain there's a better way to do it and one day I hope to know how! So, there is that little part of me that goes.... "wait, this took me weeks to make. will anybody on the entire planet even watch it?!" So, when you share kind words like this it means more than a simple "thank you" can say. haha.

Fun fact: the 'kidney stones' bit is based on a true story. After my grandmother passed, we were going through her things. There was a small box with a note inside that said "My Gallstones". Sure enough, wrapped in aluminum foil, there they were. I guess some things are just hard to throw away. Ha!
