This. Is. AWESOME!!! I’ve never heard this story! I know Bucky was Corita’s mentor, but that’s all I knew… I mean that story- THAT HEADSTONE! Amazing. So good.

Yes!! Kara!!! The Corita connection is what sparked me to finally dig into his writing. There was a photo of the two of them at an event series she put together "The Great Men Series". I was fascinated by what that conversation must have been and have continually fallen into a wonderful rabbit hole ever since.
