And this is exactly why I believe love is the greatest (and hardest) revolution of all. Imagine. As always, thank you for such a post, Brad!

AMY!!!! You are absolutely correct. Viva la revolución* (*love revolución? ... er amour revolución? revolución amore? -- I never took French) Thanks for the incredibly kind and wise words. You've encouraged me so much.

This will always be my favorite message, and one that I will continue to stand by. It shaped me in college, and continues to shape me in adulthood. We need to remind ourselves that every person matters, and is worthy of love. Thanks Brad!

SYDNEY!!! It means so much to me that you'd comment. Your belief in this idea and your hugely loving embrace of spreading it was (and continues to be) so cool to see. I'm thankful this morning for your heart and your continued belief that love is worth spreading. Go go go!

Hello, I loved reading you and I agree that thinking about others as human beings who want to be loved is a great way to develop empathy and patience. Thank you for providing this needed space for reflection.

Oh wow. Thank you! Truly. It means so much to me that you'd word this as a "needed space for reflection"! That's exactly what I've been realizing I need more in my own life and have been hoping my writing could one day become. Grateful you are here!

Ugh, the trolls WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO DO SOMETHING KIND are the worst. I always think of one of my mentors in ministry who told me about the concept of transference, that people misdirect pain and anger that actually has nothing to do with you. It helps me to remember that since they're not actually mad at me, there's not really much I can do either to help them or dissuade them. All I can do is be as kind and gracious as feels safe to me, and not continue that cycle of harm. I love your way of framing it. And the stickers are such a great visual reminder. Those would be super useful on Twitter!

JESSICA!!!!!!! This helps me tremendously. 1. Because you are someone I greatly respect and your writing is marvelous. 2. I need to remember the 'transference' and misdirected anger thing more. If it's true that "hurt people hurt people" then that's only going to ever lead to more and more hurt people hurting people. We must rebel against it. Thanks for being here and being you!

I have been here, oh gosh...yes I have been there. Some are doing anger transferring. Others are psychopaths...you can only have compassion to wish them to be able reconnect with the divine that they are so disconnect from...White Buffalo Woman's chapter in The Sophia Code speaks to this...she literally with mercy helps the soul of a man bent on raping her to return to Source where he can find peace from his sickness. She then dissolves his body to ashes. I also think online some people cannot see YOU...they are so caught in their own conditioning and assumptions...you say something and their brainwashing/conditioning/trauma or other filters kick in. They lash out or react as though you belonged to a camp that they have been hurt by or see as the enemy instead of seeing you as the friend you are, whatever differences of opinion you may have...which often you don't if they were to listen all the way through beyond projections. I once was called a long list of expletives that ended with libtard lentil terd or something similar. But I've also had trolls on the other end of the ideological spectrum. The more true we are to ourselves, the harder it is for people to box us, to place us and that is frightening to their inner child, their ego, their programming.

A simple yet ingenious idea. Most angry people feel unloved by, most importantly, themselves.

I was reminded of reading that we are not human doings we are human beings. It’s not about what you do, it’s how you show up in the moment so I thought of an edit to your very awesome sticker “I am a human being and I just want to be loved.” Keep on bringing your fabulous sense of wonder to all that you do!
