Brad, I talk of and celebrate the Grownups book with anyone who will listen. I use your content in my classroom weekly...your work is like a magic ingredient for creating a classroom community! You inspire me, my family, and my classroom often. Thank you!!! Life can be hard sometimes, Love harder💜

Amber, this means so much. Truly. I so love knowing that the book found you and has been meaningful. Thanks for making it part of your work and being a champion for it! What a gem you are. Thanks, most of all, for the work you do and the wonderful ways you show up in this world! You are needed. Also - you are wise -- "love harder" -- fantastic anthem to live by.

This is soooo cool! Congratulations, Brad! The more ideas we put into action, the more will be successful.

Kristen! You are *as usual* so so so right. It's like I know instictively that more ideas put into action = more opportunities for success. Yet, I get frozen in the 'more ideas put into action = more chances of failure'. Ha. (This is partly why the picture book I'm working on right now is about FAILURE being part of the process and something to be celebrated!) It's like pancakes-- make some wonky ones. Some will be fluffier, but in the end they're all pancakes. The world needs tasty pancakes! Keep making.

I love this, Brad! I'm a longtime Paddington stan...I am delighted to see his particular kind of charm and endearing bumbling distilled into a rule of life. It's the making mistakes part that always trips me up - but there's not much that marmalade can't fix, right? Congratulations on Circles spreading far and wide!! Woohoo!

Bethany! Paddington stans UNITE! YES!! I, too, wrestle with the mistakes portion. It's left me frozen with inaction on so many occassions. Helpful (and necessary) for me to recognize mess ups as part of the process. It's something I'm still trying to learn/unlearn. Perhaps working in more marmalade will help me! Good thought. Super encouraged by you and grateful for these kind words!
