Well, you had 44 views as I clicked the YouTube video to watch. And I cried at the end with the “it’s not very long” part of your song. My grandmother lost a short battle with brain cancer last Sunday (August 25th) and I’ve still been processing it so stuff like that hits me in the feels. 🤣 Right now we don’t really have the extra funds for the new book, unfortunately, but I’m hoping to get it as soon as possible. Hopefully before the cutoff for preorders hits since we have all the extra cool pins from all the books you’ve released in the past. My kids love looking at them and talking about what books they match. Thank you for always being someone who I enjoy reading what you have to say, and for always bringing a smile, and sometimes a tear (or a few), to my face. ❤️
Thank you for helping add to the video count! Haha! Truly, though. Honored you'd take the time. Your kind words about the song really do mean alot. So sorry for your loss. I added that last line because it's this punchy little reminder that I so often need to not get wrapped up in things that won't matter. Life is short and should be lived well. Grateful for the way you're living yours with such goodness. Cheers to you and your family!
The idea of failure is so hard baked into our brains as bad that, as you point out, it often results in many people not trying at all. Success is not only paramount but excludes everything other possibility in US culture. If you don’t instantly wow a crowd the dreaded assumption is that you’ll never be accepted, never be popular.
As you point out so well everyone, even those who are successful on their last attempt, constantly have this anxiety over their next try. Yes, I sold a million tickets, books or gadgets last time but will I be able to continue this with my next offering? Will the gods of popularity be appeased?
Jori, thank you!!!! It really really means so much that you'd pick up on that. It is a mission! Grateful for your kind words and all the goodness ahead!

Thank you! I feel like we could all use that reminder, for sure. ❤️
I’m hoping to have a Failabration in the U.K. with friends, the book arrived a couple of days ago - can’t wait to read it!
