Thanks so much for this post. I've been struggling with similar feelings about so many untold stories. And the poem you shared...The idea that someone could have a wound the shape of our words... Took my breathe away and brought tears to my eyes. Let us all be the balm that others need!
I really appreciate what you are doing & you will surely get more recognition in future. This is one of the best newsletter I have read. Love from India :)
I read this book to my kiddos -- they’re 4 and 3 and a bit too young/impatient with story time but still -- and it truly touched me. The little me within felt so seen, and I hope that this book encourages kiddos to be brave and share with the world 💜 it will definitely be going in our forever library
Thank you for this message. What you write is important and needed in this world. I am in awe of your sincerity and courage. I read a quote somewhere that when one writes the truth it can feel scary. I hope you keep doing this work and sharing your dreams with us.
Honestly needed this. On the way to work this morning I was just thinking about how my picture book story I used to be so excited about was trash and I just need to stop trying. This email was exactly what I needed to put pep back in my step and to keep trying. Thank you, Brad!
I LOVE this book!! I read it to my fourth graders and they LOVED it. We made badges and now EVERYDAY we say the pledge from the book. The kids wanted it added to our routine and I happily agreed!! Thank you for all you do!
ps my book arrived while I was out of town - yayyyyyy and now I have it in my hands.
I read all the way to Henderson, TN. Love all of your inspiring words, B-dog. Can I call you that? -Jill
Love this. So much.

Love this, Brad, because it's so true – we all have a cave of untold stories within us.
