Hi Brad. Just moved to Atlanta, sitting in a Starbucks, reading The Secret Prayers of Babies, and I felt my face glowing. You are wonderful at bringing us these moments of mindfulness. I'm always reminded of the Ton Morrison quote, "When a child walks in the room, your child or anybody else's child, do your eyes light up? That's what they're looking for." Grateful for you. Blessings, Steve

Wow - what a life-changing perspective this is for me! When sirens scream down our Main Street, it seems like all of the dogs in the neighborhood respond with howls and barks. From now 0n, 9’m going to see this as their prayers, as well. Thank you!

Dogs praying. I love the thought. Ha. Thank you for this. There’s a fascinating little book from France that was slowly translated and released here years ago that imagines different prayers of animals. I need to remember the name!

I love this idea. It reminds me of the 'Twilight Bark' in 101 Dalmatians, where a single dog would howl, starting them off, and all the other dogs would join in, sending their communications throughout the town. I was always a little in love with this idea as a child, and would listen to the dogs outside my window.

Is it this one perchance? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prayers-Ark-C-Bernos-Gasztold/dp/B000PRTE6Y (There's some photos of the inside of the book in the listing.)

I love this.

Years before having a child of my own I realized that when a baby is fussing I almost always agree. Yea, this line IS long and taking forever and I’d rather be anywhere but under these fluorescent lights. It DOES hurt when your ears pop during takeoff. I’m tired and hungry too! I am in the middle of an existential crisis about my place in the universe. I ALSO need to poop! Sometimes I smile at the parent then address the little one and say “Me too, dude.”

I also love to join them in their joy. WOW, that leaf is swaying in the wind, I wonder how wind works? Will it fall? Look at that man’s funny eyebrows! They look like caterpillars when he wiggles them.

WOW! Look how good it feels to smile at someone and receive a smile in return! Maybe the universe isn’t so scary after all, and I want to laugh from the relief of that realization.

I don't know what Robert's Rules of Orders are, or who Robert is, but this made me smile. As if there's a whole organization beneath the thing we think is chaos. (Which there usually is!)

Crying can be such a beautiful prayer, for those of us who don't have words, and for those inside us who don't for all the big things we're feeling either.

I love this so much. When my girls were babies (one still is), I would watch them dreaming and hope that someday when I get to heaven, God would let me watch videos of their dreams. Their cries being prayers absolutely makes sense, cos God definitely understands them when everyone else doesn't.

Nice one Brad. This happened with my baby recently. We were on a train. My baby decided to do his 'prayer' and all eyes are on him(or us?).
