I so appreciate this. Thank you! That's actually the line that kind of instigated the whole thing. I started realizing how many of my stories started with "One time I almost.." Most were just 'almost' stories about some idea I'd had, but didn't chase becauase I felt it was too silly or inconvenient or any number of things. Then I thought about my relationships and all the people I love and how I didn't want to 'almost' be their friend or 'almost' let them know I love them. I wanted to go all in! Sounds like we're chasing the same thing, friend. So glad you're part of this. Here's to a wholehearted pursuit of fully and absurdly loving every person in our path. Cheers!
Brad! You just changed the course of my day, my week, my month with this. I have posted it for my students to read and I have forwarded it to many. Also, I'm working on having a poster made of it. Keep going. You give me so much hope.
So encouraged to know this found you. Thanks a ton, Ashley. Thanks also for your work with students! What ages do you work with? Cheering you on today as you FILL THE WORLD WITH ABSURD AMOUNTS OF GOODNESS! Onward, dear absurd one.
I have high school students and my AP English III class and I have planned today to put notes that say "You are so loved" on every locker in the school next week as well as all the teachers', custodians', and administrators' doors and secretaries' desks as a result of reading this. We will take action! It will be well over 1,000, which means over 1,000 people will feel extra love.
I have absurd amounts of love for your manifesto. I am a returner of shopping carts (both mine and others) and also needed to be reminded today that how absurd it is to be alive and not really live. Big bananas & love to you for putting this into the world.
I really liked this newsletter, for secret reasons
😂😂😂 THIS MADE ME SPIT OUT COFFEE. I'm so glad you're here, Branden.
"And most people are almost people." A new focus to stop being an almost person! Thanks for the encouragement!! Bananas & blessings, Chris
